So it's been awhile since I've written. School has been the all consuming focus of my life it seems. This week I'm caught up and next week is Spring break so things are going to be a little more chill. I'm working on some of my bucket list items and hopefully will have a few post and pictures about that as I complete them. But today I am going to use my blog to let off a little steam of some things that bother me plus I random thought I had.
OK the first thing I want to bring up is 8 am classes. What insane person came up with this concept? Now I know what some people are already thinking I get up at 5 am and go to work and your complaining about 8 am class. My response is yes I am. The deal is you have motivation your up that early because you are making that money. I on the other hand I am actually paying to get my lazy butt up and go to class. I mean think about it for a moment. I'm not a morning person yet I'm forced to get up out of my comfy bed. Does it end there no it's just the beginning. I now have to take a shower, brush my teeth, put on clothes and make an effort to look presentable. After I find my keys I have to drive past a highschool and its traffic then once I get to school and park it's so far away that my walk from the parking lot to class is almost the same as if I'd just walked from my apartment. Once in class I have to take out a notebook and a pen and write stuff down while trying to not fall asleep. If you do it's frowned upon and trust me if you wear sunglasses so the professor can't see your eyes they catch on pretty fast. I know it seems like I'm complaining but I have a solution to the problem. I propose we make 8 am classes illegal. I know this sounds harsh but it's the only way so let's band together and fight for this cause. If we do lazy students everywhere will sing our praises.
Man when I rant I really rant so to make this shorter I'll only put 2 thoughts on here and save my final thought as a post 2 days from now. So next thought I will try not to spend to much time on but after I share I'd love to get others opinion on. OK so my school has Chapel on Tuesdays. I was sitting in the very back because I'm old and my knee was acting up. There was a couple sitting on the row in front of me they where the only people on the row. So they began just getting all up on each other I mean they were so close they could have been Siamese twins. The whole service the dude was playing with the girls hair and a couple of times his freaky self started smelling her hair. I'm pretty sure he got him some 2nd base action as well. I have a huge problem with this. OK so here's the thing I don't care that they wanted to get all freak a leak with each other as the great philosopher Bobby Brown said that's their prerogative. They are grown adults their choices in their relationship is between them but seriously not in public. I'll admit there are places that showing affection is cool such as clubs, places where you dance, music festivals anything goes at music festival it's like Vegas what happens there stays there. Well unless your at a bluegrass or Christian music fest those are exceptions to the rules. Anyway my point is that I can forgive some places but in a chapel!!! What is wrong with those people that's a sacred place. I mean am I wrong on this? I think any place of worship any religion is off limits for a make out session. If they can't control themselves they should have skipped chapel. I mean it's not like they keep record if you come or not. Go to your apartment I don't need a show. The fact that they disrespceted themselves, the school, and me is bad enough. But it also made me loose my appetite but it came back in like 20 minuets after all I'm a big man I need my food. Anyway I've ranted enough what do you think I'm I being an old man on this?
Random question: who is your favorite Beatle and why? please if you read this answer this question I will use the answers to as a survey for a later post also I'll probably start asking more random questions because that's how I roll
